How to Unsubscribe from Notifications or Newsletters

This guide will walk you through the steps to unsubscribe from newsletters and customize notifications in both our web and mobile apps. We’ll cover how to disable email newsletters, manage book-specific notifications, and disable push notifications.

Part 1: Web App

1. Unsubscribing from Newsletters

Follow these steps to deactivate the email newsletter:
Log into your account: Open the web app and sign in with your credentials.
Go to Profile Settings: Click on your profile icon or username in the top-right corner and click on Profile from the dropdown menu.


Navigate to Notifications: In the settings menu, look for the Notifications tab.


Deactivate the Newsletter: Under the email preferences, toggle off the option to receive newsletters.

2. Managing Notifications for Specific Books

You can customize or deactivate notifications for each book you own:
Log into your account: Make sure you’re signed into the web app.
Go to My Books: Click on the My Books section to view your library.


Access Notifications: For each book, find the Notifications tab.


Customize Notifications: Here, you can adjust notification preferences specific to each book, such as updates, reminders, or any other alerts related to that book.

Part 2: Mobile App

1. Unsubscribing from Newsletters

To disable the email newsletters in the mobile app, follow these steps:
Log into the Mobile App: Open the app and log into your account.
Go to Profile: Tap on your profile icon at the top left side of the screen.


Navigate to Newsletter: In your profile, find the Newsletter section and tap on the Emails tab.

2. Managing Notifications for Specific Books

To manage email notifications for individual books:
Go to Book: Open the app, find the book section located on the bottom right side of the screen.


Find Notifications section


Navigate to Emails: Tap on the Emails tab, there you can adjust notifications, such as updates, reminders, or any other alerts related to the book.

3. Disabling Push Notifications

To disable push notifications sent by the app:
Go to Book: Select the book in the app where you want to disable notifications.


Find Notifications section


Go to Push Notifications: Tap on Push Notifications and toggle off/on the notifications.
