# Can I upload or add videos to my book?

|| You can upload your own videos directly in the web editor or the Meminto app – or embed unlimited YouTube videos in your book.

### Upload your own videos

* Add your own video to a story using the video feature.
* You can do this in the Meminto app or in the web editor.
* Each uploaded video can be up to 10 minutes long.

The number of your own videos you can add depends on your package. See [Video limits and additional capacity](https://helpdesk.meminto.com/en/article/video-limits-and-additional-capacity-e9kv9j/) for all details.

### Embed a YouTube video

* You can embed unlimited YouTube videos at no additional cost.
* We especially recommend YouTube for videos that should remain available independently of Meminto.

###### How to add a YouTube video

1. Go to your answer or written text.
* Navigate to the answer or section where you want to add a YouTube video.

2. Click the “Video” button.
* Click the Video button in the bottom toolbar.

3. Copy and paste the YouTube video URL.
* Go to YouTube and copy the URL of the video you want to add.
* Paste the URL into the URL field in the web editor.

4. Click “Add video”.
* The YouTube video is now added to your answer.

||| Important: The YouTube video must not be set to “Private.” Use “Unlisted” for private family videos instead. If a YouTube video is later deleted or no longer shared, it can no longer be accessed via the QR code in the book.
