How to activate and use phone feature?
Our phone feature allows you to schedule calls or answer questions from your book via phone, with the ability to record and transcribe your answers using Meminto Credits. Please note that this feature incurs an additional cost besides the price of the book. Follow these steps to request and use the phone feature.
To get started with the phone feature:
Log into your account: Open the app or website and sign in with your credentials.
Go to the Book Section: Navigate to the section where your books are listed.
Access the Phone Feature Tab: Select the book for which you want to use the phone feature, then go to the Phone Feature tab.
Press Request Phone Feature: Tap on the button to request the phone feature.
Check your Email: After requesting the feature, you will receive an email containing a payment link.
Complete the Payment: Click on the link and follow the instructions to complete the payment process.
After completing the payment, follow these steps:
Add Your Phone Number: Enter your phone number in the provided field.
Verify Your Phone Number: You will receive an SMS or phone call containing a 4-digit verification code.
Enter the Code: Input the 4-digit code you received to verify your phone number.
Once your phone number is verified, you can start using the phone feature.
- You can choose to schedule a weekly call. During these calls, you will be able to answer questions from your book via phone.
- Alternatively, you can answer specific questions directly from your book.
- Go to the question you want to answer.
- Select the option to answer via a phone call.
- During the call, your spoken answer will be recorded and saved as an audio file attached to that question.
After the phone call, the recorded audio will be saved to your book. You can transcribe this audio into text using the speech-to-text feature:
Use Meminto Credits: You can use Meminto Credits to transcribe the recorded audio into text for easy reference.
Access the Transcript: Once transcribed, the text will be attached to the corresponding question in your book.
By following these steps, you can easily request and use the phone feature, giving you more flexibility in answering your book's questions through scheduled calls or direct phone input, with the added option of transcribing your audio responses for future reference.
