How to delete your Meminto account
If you are working with the web app
In our web app, proceed as follows:
Step 1: Remove All Contributors from Your Projects
To ensure a smooth account deletion process, please remove all contributors from your projects first:
- Log in to your account.
- Navigate to each of your book projects.
- Remove all contributors from every project, ensuring no contributors remain.
Step 2: After ensuring all contributors have been removed, click your profile picture (top-right corner of the screen).
- Choose Settings & Security from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: Click on “Delete Account”
- In the Settings and Security section, locate the Delete Account button in the bottom right corner.
Click on the Delete Account button.
Step 4: Select a Reason for Leaving
- A prompt will appear asking you to select a reason for leaving.
- Choose the reason(s) from the available checkboxes that best describe why you are leaving.
Step 5: Enter Your Email Address
- To confirm the deletion of your account, you will need to enter your email address.
- Enter your email address in the provided field and confirm.
Step 6: Confirm Deletion
- After entering your email address, confirm that you want to delete your account permanently.
- Your account will now be deleted.
If you are working with the mobile app
Step 1: Log In to the Mobile App
- Open the Meminto mobile app on your device.
- Log in to your account if you haven’t already.
Step 2: Go to Your Profile
Step 3: Scroll to the Bottom of the Page
Step 4: Click on “Delete Account” Dropdown
Step 5: Once the dropdown is expanded, Click on the “Delete Account” button.
Step 6: Follow the Web App Steps to Delete Your Account
- After being redirected to the web app, follow the steps outlined for the web app to complete the deletion of your account:
- Remove all contributors from your projects.
- Go to Settings & Security.
- Click on Delete Account.
- Select a reason for leaving.
- Enter your email address.
- Confirm the deletion.
