Every user receives 50 free credits for every book purchased. These can be used in full to get to know and try out our smart functions. The cost of credits may vary over time, but as of Sept. 30, 2024 the following prices apply (we have placed possible services next to them as a comparison):
500 credits = US$ 12 (100 minutes of audio, = $0.12 per minute)
1000 credits = US$ 20 (200 minutes of audio, = $0.10 per minute)
2000 credits = US$ 36 (400 minutes of audio, = $0.09 € per minute)
5000 credits = US$ 80 (1000 minutes of audio, = $0.08 per minute)
The credits dashboard (in your Meminto account) gives you a transparent and clear overview of how many credits you need for which tasks and what you have already used your credits for.
A normal 5-minute voice recording fills about 2 pages with text.
About 25 credits are required to convert such a recording into text.
To fill about 70-100 book pages with text, about 175 minutes must be recorded.
To convert these completely into text requires around 875 credits.
This roughly corresponds to a cost of US$ 15.
Credits do not expire unless you delete your Meminto account. Credits are tied to users, but not to a book. So if you are writing several books at the same time or one after the other, you can use credits across projects. Unused credits cannot be paid out again.
Credits cannot be transferred to other users. In a book project in which you write together, each user therefore needs their own credits to be able to carry out AI-based tasks.
