How do I create a foreword, afterword, or an appendix?
Sometimes a book needs additional information that can be placed in a foreword, afterword, or appendix. Here you will learn how to go about this in the best way.
Some authors use the "Dedication" field for a foreword. However, we advise against this, as the space there is limited. To be more flexible, it is recommended to use categories.
Create a category or chapter for "Foreword" or "Afterword." Adjust the order accordingly by dragging the chapter or category to the appropriate position (Click on the icon with the arrows that point up and down and then move it up or down).
Now create a new "Question" or section within it and name it "Foreword" or "Afterword."
Write your text now and save it.
Disable the display of the title of the question / the section via the "Advanced Settings" so that it does not appear twice:

That's it. Your foreword or afterword will now appear in the book at the planned location!
