What languages are supported by Meminto?

We often receive inquiries about whether Meminto is available in different languages. The answer is: Yes, it is possible! Discover here which languages are supported.


When you start a Meminto book with one of our question collections, you can choose between English and German at the beginning (as of May 2025). Other languages are currently being added, such as Spanish and Portuguese. You will initially receive the questions in the chosen language. However, you can continue in any language, even if you start in English.


The only limitation: Only languages that are written and read from left to right are supported. Therefore, Hebrew and Arabic are currently not supported.


An example: Do you want your parents in Korea to answer the questions in Korean? First, select English as the source language. You can then use a translation program (e.g., Google Translate, DeepL) to translate the questions into the target language. Your parents will then see these.


We are working on making translation possible at the push of a button, so you don't have to invest any manual work. Please contact our support for more information on the development status.


Answering Questions or Writing in the Editor


In the Meminto Editor, your parents or you can continue in any language (that is written from left to right). If you are not sure whether your desired language is supported, please try it out first by starting a free mini-book: https://meminto.com/app/free.


Then take a look at the preview. Is everything displayed in the chosen font? If characters appear incorrectly, you can adjust the font for your texts under “Layout & Printing.”


Answering Questions via Audio Recording (and Transcription)


Of course, the questions can also be answered through audio recording. The subsequent speech conversion will then generate text. For the StoryScribe function of Meminto, the following languages are currently supported:
