What languages are supported by Meminto?

Meminto Language Support — Quick Overview

• Life Books can now be started in German, English, Portuguese, and Spanish
• You can still write answers in many other languages
• Languages must currently be written from left to right
• Audio transcription (StoryScribe) supports multiple languages
• Fonts can be adjusted if characters are not displayed correctly
• Automatic translations via Meminto AI already work

We often receive questions about whether Meminto is available in different languages. The answer is: Yes!

Here you can find an overview of which languages are currently supported and how multilingual books work in Meminto.

Question Collections & Book Creation

When starting a Meminto Life Book using one of our question collections, you can currently choose between:

• English
• German

We are continuously adding more languages, including Spanish and Portuguese.

Once your book is created, you are not limited to that language anymore. You can continue writing and answering questions in almost any language you prefer.

At the moment, Meminto only supports languages that are written from left to right. Because of this, languages such as Hebrew and Arabic are currently not supported.

Using Other Languages

Would you like family members in another country to answer the questions in their native language?

Example:

If your parents live in Korea and prefer Korean, you can:

1. Start the book in English
2. Translate the questions using tools like:

• Google Translate
• DeepL Translator

3. Send the translated questions to them

They can then answer directly in Korean, and the content will still work inside the Meminto editor.

We are also working on automatic translations directly inside Meminto to make this process easier in the future.

Inside the Meminto editor, you can write in almost any language that uses left-to-right writing. If you are unsure whether your language is fully supported, we recommend testing it first with a free mini book: Create a Free Mini Book

After creating it, check the preview carefully:

• Are all characters displayed correctly?
• Does the font support your language properly?

If some characters appear incorrectly, you can usually fix this under: Layout & Printing → Font Settings

Meminto also supports answering questions through audio recordings. Our StoryScribe feature automatically converts spoken audio into text.
