How can Categories be formatted in the book?

Meminto helps you pay attention to all areas of your life by asking you structured questions categorized by topics, thereby reminding you of important events, experiences, and thoughts.

In our blank book categories are called "Chapters".

1. Category Presentation

When creating a book, you can choose how the category titles are displayed on the inner pages of your book. You have two options to choose from:

To adjust how the categories are displayed later on, go to Layout & Print > Inner Pages > Category options

Do not print categories

If enabled, the category names will be removed from the book completely.
This setting also disables the table of contents of your book.

Category headings on single pages

If enabled, the category title will be printed on a separate page.
If not enabled, the category title will be printed above the first question.

Show categories in headers on pages

When enabled, the category titles are printed at the top of the page, so you always know which category the current story belongs to as you read the book.

2. Extended Category Layout

The display of each categories can be expanded in the menu under Categories.

If the extended category layout is enabled for a category, an image with a short description of the category can be added to the category page.
