How can I create or prepare the book for someone else?

You have gifted a Meminto book, for example to your grandparents or parents, and want to prepare it for them? Here’s how it works.

Preparing the book for the person you gifted it to

After purchasing the Meminto book for someone else, you’ll receive an email with your purchase receipt and the next steps.
Click the button labeled “Prepare an account,” which you’ll find a bit further down.
Create your own Meminto account and set up the book for the person you gifted it to—this only takes about 2 minutes. Just follow the process.
You will be assigned the role of “Assistant” in the book. This means you can help add content, but your name won’t appear. You act as a “ghostwriter,” and content you add will look like it was written by the gifted person.

Once the gifted person receives your gift via e-Card, a printable card, or the gift box, they create their own account and take ownership of the book. Here’s how:

On the chosen delivery day, the gifted person will get a “Magic Link” in the e-Card. No registration is needed—one click takes them directly to the book you prepared. They just need to set a password to log in at https://meminto.com/app in the future.

How does it work if no e-Card was given, but a printed gift card instead?

Since there’s no Magic Link in the printed gift card or gift box, the recipient uses the activation code included. They’ll need to enter their email and choose a password (on https://memin.to/register), then they’ll become the book’s owner and can start immediately. You can support them anytime through your assistant account and access their book. Use the options in “My Book” if you want to leave or remove yourself from the participant list.
